Our firm has an experienced staff that provides representation in the practice areas of bankruptcy, business law, real estate, and civil litigation.
We take tremendous pride in helping people with businesses make informed decisions. The choices confronting business persons include whether to incorporate or form a limited liability company, to lease or own, to employ workers or independent contractors and strategies for succession, including buy-sell agreements, assets and stock purchase and sale agreements. We work with many local small business owners.
We file Chapter 7 bankruptcies for individuals and entities in financial distress. However, we do so only after a careful analysis of each client’s needs. Non-bankruptcy solutions may be available. We recognize that folks who are contemplating bankruptcy are experiencing stress and that the decision to file is a difficult choice on many levels.
Our real estate issues are far-ranging in nature. They include working with homeowners’ associations in drafting and amending declarations and resolving homeowner disputes, helping property owners resolve title disputes, boundary and encroachment issues, and drafting and negotiating leases, easements, and purchase and sale agreements for commercial and residential properties…from the simple to the complex.
We also offer services in civil litigation, representing plaintiffs and defendants in matters including real estate and property, contracts, and business disputes. However, we do pride ourselves in first attempting to creatively resolve disputes without resort to litigation. We understand that litigation can be both emotionally draining and time-consuming. You will be treated with respect and your concerns will be heard.
